Susan Frazer and myself (Pat Farquhar) had the opportunity to meet with Mamoon Rashid and give him a tour of our farms. We found him very knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to help individual producers with their herd concerns as well as to assist the MGA with seminars.
I hope that all the MGA members as well as any other goat producer will take advantage of Mamoon's knowledge and willingness to help and either call him by phone or email. One project he is already working on is a variety of herd management sheets that will help new producers with often asked questions.
The MGA welcomes Mamoon to his new position and we look forward to working with you!
